About Us
We've been putting logos on stuff since 1998, and we've gotten pretty good at it.
Green Monkey started back in 1998 when Tami Graff had a good idea and a phone. Her husband Steve came on to help her out, got hooked, and at some point she handed him the keys and went off to do other things. It's been Steve ever since. Twenty-eight years later, he still answers the phone himself, still won't sell anybody a box of junk with their name on it, and yes, he's the Green Monkey. Long story.
What we do
We help businesses, schools, and organizations pick promotional products and branded apparel that people actually keep. Pens that write. Shirts people argue over. Custom pieces nobody else has. Our office is in Longview, Texas, but honestly most of our clients are scattered across the country and have never seen it. That's fine. The office isn't the point. The point is that when your customer needs what you sell, your name is the first one that comes to mind.
Why us instead of the giant website with the blinking coupon
We source direct from the factories, so there are fewer hands in the pot and the pricing shows it. Twenty-eight years of working with the same vendors means we know who delivers on time and who just says they will. And when you email us, you'll hear back from a real person who knows your name, your brand, and that you can't stand the color teal.
The credentials, since you asked
Steve is a Certified Advertising Specialist (C.A.S.), a U.S. Army veteran, and Green Monkey is a Texas VetHUB-certified veteran-owned business. The Army taught him about discipline, deadlines, and how to get things done when the plan falls apart. Turns out that's most of this job.
When the monkey's not working
It's rare, but it happens. You'll usually find Steve outdoors somewhere: hiking with too much gear on his back, flying a paramotor over East Texas (a motor strapped to a parachute, and yes, on purpose), or writing novels about people who do both. If he's not picking up the phone, he's probably above you.
